Milwaukee Performing Arts Schools & Programs

Although there are no conservatories or performing arts colleges in Milwaukee, there are three universities that provide performing arts education. The University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee offers undergraduate and graduate dance, music, and theatre degrees. Cardinal Stritch University offers degree programs in both theatre studies and music, while Marquette University, a private Jesuit university, offers a theatre arts degree.

It supports a ballet company an opera and a symphony, which are all very active in the community and work extensively with school children.
